At Addyman’s, we operate a waste transfer station, which means all your skip waste is handled and sorted on site. The majority of our waste material is then sent for recycling at reputable processing companies. We are currently recycling up to 80% of all materials from our skips.
Wait & Load Service
We also offer a wait and load service for customers who need to dispose of waste materials quickly. We simply arrive on site, wait until the skip is loaded and return to our waste transfer station. It’s a fast, hassle-free way to order a skip.

How long can I keep the skip?
Skip hire is normally up to 14 days, after that please contact the office if you require any longer.
How do I book a skip?
Please fill out our contact form to let us know you wish to hire a skip, or give us a call at 01423 868 777.
How much notice do I need to give?
Ideally 24 hours, but if you need it quickly we can deliver the same day. Please just give us a call.
What happens to my waste after it is taken away in a skip?
All your waste is brought back to our site where it is separated and treated. It is then disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible.
Where can I have my skip dropped?
You can have your skip dropped on your driveway or private land.
Are there any restrictions on what I can put into a skip?
Yes. You cannot use a skip to dispose of paint tins, tyres, fridges, gas bottles, plaster board or any form of asbestos. Also We Strictly Have A No Lithium Batteries Policy Waste electricals are fine as we hold a WEEE licence at our site.
Are there any skip loading requirements?
Skips are required to be level filled and never over the max capacity.
